With everyone looking to take your hard earned money promising the world and then some, where do you turn for affordable yet quality radio and TV spot productions? I will tell you that in all of my years in this industry, working on what many would consider upscale TV and radio productions, that finding really good production houses is not as easy as it looks. Trying to find that creative, energetic yet easy to work with music production house is not all that easy to find. We understand the difficulty of many young business start-ups and the many frustrations that come their way as they try and launch what will hopefully be a successful venture not being a waste of time and money.
One thing can be for certain in this lack-luster and mediocre advertising dip that were in, that standing out and maintaining a credible and wholesome image is just that much more important. On the positive side, while it might seem a daunting task, it doesnt have to take that much nowadays to stand out in the crowd. Have you been listening to the average commercial on radio or TV. If you will stick to a lot of what worked in the advertising Mecca days of the 70s and 80s and much of the 90s, with all of the incredible commercials that were out then and produce it with todays musical and production standards, you could very well be looking at a very profitable campaign.
How many commercials are you able to rip off the top of your head from todays ads? Probably not that many. But Ill guarantee you that if you ask an individual who grew up just a few short years ago, they can sing you product after product. I honestly cant sing that many products from today. Our goal is to obviously please each and every customer delivering top-notch jingles and music productions, but doing it so that they are truly singable or memberable That really is the goal.
Im sure this sounds very elementary, but its the truth and if you will embrace this message and create or have created very memberable jingles, you can have a campaign that not only sticks out, has credibility with the public, but really increases sales. Now before you go out and have a jingle produced, you must be aware that not all music companies or productions are equal. When I say a great sounding commercial Im talking about a phrase or tag line that your product or service can own and not just one of many tired musical phrases and lines that act as the jingle. Your product must be able to own the musical phrase in the publics mind every time they hum it. If you go out and get a cheap music company to write your spot you might as well have used the in-house voice over and production music from the radio or cable company.
Use the proven methods of advertising with great sounding jingles with phrases and melody lines that your company can own in the hearts and minds of the public and you really could see some amazing results!
